Risida has developed as a centre of education since the British Period. The centre Primary School was established in 1892. Now Risida has five Primary School. An M.E. School was opened in 1951. Bapujee High School was established in 1964.Later on a Girls High School was opened with the contribution of the villagers. The J. K. Mahavidyalaya(+2) college was came into being in 1984. A Degree College was established in late nineties. Now A saraswati Sishumandir and Sri Sri Aurobindo Integral education centre are working.
